******PLEASE NOTE: the following is a commentary by an unknown author that has been floating thruout the internet,those who published it suggests it is mis-information & really should be ignored,of course they'd be ones who would consume swine flesh.I suggest to the viewers of this sight before u make that decision,read,research,use common sense & logic to determine if this is indeed misinformation. Many religions & ancient cultures ban the eating of swine flesh,pig or pork.ISLAM forbids even to touch the carcass of the pig,even in christianity we are warned to avoid it,the BIBLE tells us not 2 eat any animal with a split hoof,jesus was said to cast evil spirits into the swine,however christians are the main consumers of swine flesh & muslims & jews will be happy 2 sell it 2 them,of course this isn't talking about all,but i am sure u know this.If the ancient people knew that something was wrong with swine flesh many times they would place it within a practice of their religion or culture,i suspect something is wrong if the swine is taught against not 2 be used for food by so many,but if this is true why is it eaten? The swine is easy to raise as it will eat anything & reproduce quickly in this it is very cheap,they can live almost anywhere.Please refer to this article for the physical qualities of why pork should be avoided,also 2 add from a spiritual point of view,study the swine eater,study the swine. Out of all the animals it seems only male pigs like to lay with one another,if you are what you eat,those that eat swine also produce babies that grow 2 lay with those of the same sex.The swine is a scavenger & will eat almost anything including it's own feces,pigs will eat slop...no animal will eat slop except pigs,i was raised on a pig farm i saw none of the other animals even attempt to eat slop,nothing can grow in a pig pen,they eat everything. It is a dirty animal & loves living in filth it makes no attempt to clean itself,so is the swine eater they r greedy in 2007 the world of swine eaters face an obesity epidemic,even affecting the very young,they eat anything as long as the FDA says it is safe to eat they consume it,the christian tells me as long as you pray over your food even pork is safe,apparently the prayer isn't working as the same christians fill the hospitals with sickness from pork,non-excercise & eating everything the FDA says is allright. The FDA does not care about the health of the public their primary concern is to help food producers make profits without killing the public instantly,some of the chemicals they put in processed food if taken alone would kill u on the spot & like the swine the mind of the swine eater is filthy as some of them d not like 2 bathe but their minds are filled with vile thoughts & actions. They practice fornication & adultery,sex with young children,swap husbands & wives,embrace porn,suck the vagina & penis,love 2 be seen nude & half nude of which soon evolves to jealousy ,greed,violence ,male lay with males,females with females,& murder,so since so many are eaters of the swine,i am not shocked by the ways of this world,all this caused by pork? Of course not but if we are what we eat,shouldn't we consume the best available so we can be the best,eating the worst has proven itself 4 thousands of years not 2 be such a good idea,think about? Circulating alone for several years, this chain letter has recently been added to a collection of culinary caveats on previously 'unknown' hazards in instant noodles, satay and prawns. The present rumor builds on two staples of urban legendry: the impurity of pork and the acidic properties of Coca-Cola.
If you pours Coke (yes, the soda) on a slab of pork, wait a little while, you will SEE WORMS crawl out of it.
A message from the Health Corporation of Singapore about the Bad effects of pork consumption. Pig's bodies contain MANY TOXINS, WORMS and LATENT DISEASES.
Although some of these infestations are harboured in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far MORE PREDISPOSED to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because PIGS like to SCAVENGE and will eat ANY kind of food, INCLUDING dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta including their own, garbage, and other pigs. INFLUENZA (flu) is one of the MOST famous illnesses which pigs share with humans. This illness is haboured in the LUNGS of pigs during the summer months and tends to affect pigs and human in the cooler months.
Sausage contains bits of pigs' lungs, so those who EAT pork sausage tend to SUFFER MORE during EPIDEMICS of INFLUENZA. Pig meat contains EXCESSIVE quantities of HISTAMINE and IMIDAZOLE compounds, which can lead to ITCHING and INFLAMMATION; GROWTH HORMONE which PROMOTES INFLAMMATION and growth; sulphur containing mesenchymal mucus which leads to SWELLING and deposits of MUCUS in tendons and cartilage, resulting in ATHRITIS, RHEUMATISM, etc.
Sulphur helps cause FIRM human tendons and ligaments to be replaced by the pig's soft mesenchymal tissues, and degeneration of human cartilage.
Eating pork can also lead to GALLSTONES and OBESITY, probably due to its HIGH CHOLESTEROL and SATURATED FAT content. The pig is the MAIN CARRIER of the TAENIE SOLIUM WORM, which is found in its flesh. These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has TRICHINOSIS from eating trichina worms, which are found in pork.
Many people have NO SYMPTOMS to warm them of this, and when they do, they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are NOT noticed during meat inspections.
It has long been held that, in comparison to other meats, pork is comparatively less pure because of the scavenging and slothful lifestyle of the animal from which it comes. In fact, some religions hold that swine are unclean and should not be consumed, lest they soil the consumer.
Regardless of religion, many of us were taught that eating raw or undercooked pork causes food poisoning known as trichinosis, a disease caused by parasitic worms. The (U.S.) National Pork Board, which has led a very aggressive on-farm food safety research program since 1994, addresses the presence of parasites in "the Other White Meat":
"Because of modern feeding practices, trichinosis is a no longer a concern. Although trichina is virtually nonexistent in pork, if it were present, it would be killed at 137 degrees F. That's well below the recommended end cooking temperature for pork, which is 160 degrees F."
The (U.S.) National Pork Producer's Council points out that pork has been given a bad rap and is the world’s most widely eaten meat:
"Pigs are often thought to be dirty, but actually keep themselves cleaner than most pets. They are seen laying in mud because they do not have sweat glands and constantly need water or mud to cool off."
As the chain letter above points out, Pork is generally considered less lean and less healthy than other selections in the meat case. However, the National Pork Board explains that, while this used to be the case, modern pork production has come a long way:
"Today's pig yields a pork loin with 77% less fat - and 53% fewer calories!
"Hogs and hog production have evolved to meet growing - and changing - demands for pork. With a declining need for many products once made from fat hogs, today's leaner hogs better meet the needs of Americans. In 1937 much of a hog went toward producing lard. Today, lean meat replaces much of that fat.
"Today's pork producer combines genetics with improved production techniques and technology to deliver the leaner pork consumers demand."
The other alleged links between porcine and human health (influenza, inflammation, arthritis, etc) made in the chain letter above are unsupported by any medical literature I've been able to find.
The second legend this chain letter propagates is that Coke is acidic enough to force a supposed parasitic infestation from the meat. There are no magical properties in Coca-Cola that will cause some grotesque transformation in pork or any other meat. In fact, about the only thing pouring Coke on a piece of raw pork will produce is a yummy-sweet marinade for grilling or roasting. Read this article for more on the rumored health risks of Coca-cola.

DO NOT EAT THE PIG,SWINE OR PORK
John Harvey Kellogg(the man behind the food empire) was a staunch opponent to the consumption of pork because in the bible it says that eating pork is bad for you. This is why it's forbidden to eat pork in the Jewish and Muslim faiths, but perfectly accepted in the Christian faith such as Catholicism since it's traditional to have a ham at Easter, and Christmas. People eat everything from the ears to the tails either pickled or salted because the meat would spoil easily. Pigs are no question scavengers and ferrel pigs ate scraps of things or leftovers from what other animals ate. Not just the meat is consumed, but the fat off a pig is used for lard which is fat used in cooking and baking. Pigs don't have sweat glands or a way to cool themselves off when it's hot and usually the bigger the pig the more it's prone to disease. When pork was a readily consumed meat during slavery the slaveowner would cast off the scraps onto the slaves which culminated into soul food which was the ears, snout, tails, feet, and chitterlings(the intestines). If that couldnt be more disgusting, and some of you out there who eat turkey products like Jennie-O turkey smoked sausage and bratwurst would be happy to know that pork casings are used to form the sausage mold. So for some Jewish people out there who do not eat pork, but will eat beef, turkey, and chicken products may want to reconsider not purchasing this product anymore until they discontinue using pig intestine for sausage making. Also pork is a readily used product in a lot of African-American and Hispanic cooking since chitterlings are a common dish served hot with greens(flavored and seasoned with salted pork), but smell to the high heavens when cooked in a large boiling pot. Pork is also full of parasites from gastrointestinal tapeworms to Leprosy which is common in Eastern european countries attributed to eating pork or products produced from pork. People make claims that pigs are clean animals when that's far from the truth because pigs eat the trash that was thrown out from when farmers ate their meals and the pigs would be fed food scraps like potato skins, and other organic waste. This is why it's not wise to eat pork because pigs eat stuff that's causing them to come down with diseases and viruses that can be passed through the meat when slaughtered and they spread more diseases than chickens, turkeys, fish, and cattle since these animals eat plant matter since not all kinds of fish are scavengers with the exceptions of catfish since they eat waste products of other fish and marine life plus it's high in fat when cooked. Chickens, turkeys, and cows are herbavores so they eat grains and plants and not waste products of other animals the way pigs do.
